ACTIVITIES

THE DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICE

The Development and Construction Service is responsible for everything preceding the establishment of a wind farm, for La Compagnie du Vent and for third parties. Its mission is structured in several stages:

Development

- Searching for sites
- Contacting the elected representatives and the national authorities (Districts, Communities of Districts, General Councils, Regional Councils, Prefects...),
- Check-up campaigns for wind power potential
- Listing the environmental and statutory constraints, in cooperation with the national services (DDE, DIREN, SDAP, etc.), and the local experts (acousticians, landscape gardeners, local associations for the protection of the environnement…),
- Technico-economic project studies,
- Setting up financial and legal projects,
- Setting up applications for planning permissions, including studies about environmental impact
- Local cooperation and follow-up of local surveys
